Professional Patio Cleaning Tailored to the Surface
Patios are exposed to damp conditions, foot traffic, surface dirt, algae, moss, lichen and general weathering. The correct cleaning method depends on the material, age, condition, jointing, staining and previous treatments.
Ace Exterior Co assesses each patio before work begins. The proposed service may include controlled pressure cleaning, surface-appropriate treatments and detailed edge cleaning where required.
Existing damage, loose joints, delicate surfaces and permanent staining will be identified where reasonably visible before the cleaning method is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What patio surfaces do you clean?
We clean Indian sandstone, porcelain, concrete paving, limestone, natural stone and block paving. The cleaning method is selected according to the surface, condition and jointing.
Can pressure washing damage my patio?
Excessive pressure or an unsuitable technique can damage some surfaces and joints. We assess the patio first and adjust the pressure, equipment and treatments accordingly.
Can you remove black spot and lichen?
Targeted treatments can significantly improve black spot and lichen staining. Results depend on the surface, severity and how deeply the growth has established, so complete removal cannot always be guaranteed.
Do you clean porcelain patios?
Yes. Porcelain patios are cleaned using a controlled method suited to the surface, jointing and type of dirt or organic growth present.
Will patio cleaning stop weeds returning?
Cleaning removes accessible weeds and organic growth present during the service, but it cannot prevent airborne seeds or future regrowth. Ongoing maintenance may still be required.
How long does patio cleaning take?
Many residential patios can be cleaned within a day, but the exact time depends on their size, condition, access and whether additional treatments are required.
